Wayne & Rosie Downie
Church Planting in the Philippines! Wayne and Rosie have served in the Philippines for many years, and have 3 grown children living in Australia. They have planted many churches in Samar, Leyte and Metro Manila. One whole new AOG region was formed out of their ministry in Eastern Samar, the result of teams coming and working closely with the national AOG. Northern Samar remains the last bastion for us for provincial church planting, as we have no churches in this region. The target is 25 new churches! To help facilitate this we are establishing Zion’s Hill Ministry Training Centre, which will train church planters, and function as a regional centre for the whole of Eastern Visayas. Metro-Manila is a city of 25 million! We have established two churches already, and have a vision for many more. Our focus is opening new ground, and raising up leaders. We are inviting teams to come and be involved by taking on churches to help develop strong established centres. We want to develop partners in these works, not just those who send funds. In Manila our multimedia church ministry is viewed by 250,000 people each week. Please plan to send a team today.

Josh and Belinda founded Sepheo in Lesotho, Africa, in 2013. Sepheo gets children off the streets and back into families. Through Sepheo School and family reintegration, they have dramatically reduced the number of children living and begging on the streets. Since its founding, Sepheo has continued to expand its work to include interventions for children at risk of going to the street, facilitating alternative care for children who have been abused, abandoned or neglected, and providing skills training for young women. Josh and Belinda are privileged to work alongside a capable team of Basotho staff and volunteers. Together with the team, they are passionate about solving problems that have long been called impossible.
Learn moreChildren's Fortress Africa
The vision of Children’s Fortress Africa is to see children and young people in Kenya reach their potential using the unique gifts and skills they have within them. Focusing on children and young people living on the streets of Nairobi, they aim to see children restored to families, families strengthened to care for and send their children to school, and young people given the opportunities and support required to overcome the challenges they face. Children’s Fortress Africa see this outworked through a range of activities, including family reunification, income-generation, education scholarships, community libraries, sports programs and advocacy efforts. They are working with government services, families, children, and young people to tackle issues leading to children living on the streets from all levels.
Learn moreSepheo
Sepheo gets children off the streets and back into families. They have been operating in Maseru, Lesotho since 2013. Out of poverty, Sepheo develops children who live with excellence. We reject the identity of ‘street kids.’ These children were created for a purpose. Because of their work, there are practically no more children on the streets. Sepheo also operates a bridging school for those kids unable to enter mainstream school. The school also acts as a great support network for children and their families, and prevents them from returning to the streets. Their work has grown to include providing education and rehabilitation to children and young women who have suffered abuse, abandonment and neglect.
